Since many (many, many, many, many) people have been asking me what I want for Christmas, I’ve started thinking about it. None of you seem willing to settle for “anything you get me will be fine” even though it’s absolutely true and I have no burning desires for anything right now. BUT, I’ve come up with a few things:

A calligraphy set – I used to have one when I was a kid and I loved it. I was pretty decent at it and I would like to try it out again. If nothing else, I can make my own Christmas cards next year.

A New Coffee Pot – I use mine to filter water for my tea, as well as for my coffee fix on the days I feel I need it, and the poor *cheap piece of* thing is dying. I need a new one.

A tea kettle – I know, I know you thought I used the coffee pot for that. Still, for some reason I’ve been obsessed with getting a stove top tea kettle for making my teas and I want one.

Coffee cups – I’m a slob. I’ve ruined a few coffee cups by letting them sit in the sink and get stained. Gross, isn’t it? I want new ones so that I can serve hot drinks to my guests, instead of just me.

Silverware – I know, it’s mundane. Still, I want matching silverware. Don’t go getting all fancy; it’s not like I’m throwing a dinner party. I’d just like it to match. My OCD will love you.

Silicon cookie sheet – I’ve seen these in the store and they look not only awesome, but handy. Nicky like. Nicky want.

Earrings – I now have two piercings in each ear now, but now I only have a limited pair of matching earrings to stick through the extra holes in my body. So, earrings (or any jewelry, actually) is good. I like shiny things. Just like a crow. Foil works, too.

Gift Cards – gift cards are not a cop-out gift, they are divine. Target, Wal-Mart, Waldenbooks, Barnes & Noble are all great ideas for gift cards. After all, I need food, clothes, and more books. In fact, I owe the start of my large current book collection to someone giving me a gift card to Waldenbooks.

Guild Wars? – I’d be open to getting additions to Guild Wars. I have the first, but none of the expansions. It’s a wonderful game. BUT it’s pricey. If you buy me this, it’d better be the only thing you get me. I know exactly how much they cost and I know you people, I’m not the only person you have to buy for. The expansion packs are entitled: Factions, Nightfall, and Eye of the North. If you’d rather not do that, then you can give me ten bucks to buy yet another character slot. Trust me, it would make my day.

guitar hero – If anyone out there who is really loaded wants to give me this, I need a PS2 with Guitar Hero. I played it with my friend Jen before she moved and I absolutely loved it (technical inaccuracies aside). However, all I have is the old PlayStation and Spyro games, and though wonderful, it does not support Guitar Hero in any version. NOW, this is INSANELY pricey so don’t feel weirded out if you don’t get it for me. I mean hey, that’s why I haven’t bought it for myself.
